Modern Living Space – For the 1999 Interior Design Show in Toronto, Cecconi Simone was one of four firms asked to design a living environment for the new millennium. Our response was a space that fused the four elements – earth, air, fire and water into an oasis that served as a retreat from the overload of everyday life. Within 600 square feet, we created a space where one lives among features that are most often sacrificed in small home living. An indoor garden and candle-powered fireplace, along with a foldout wall bed create the perfect home for the modern nomad. |
